I was very upset I paid a daily early so when I arrived to the hotel I could go straight to my room. I drove 8 hours from Milwaukee. I had to wait a half hour for my suite to be clean. The pool was down and I was told the pool was open.Also disrespectful guess in the lobby hanging around play loud music on there cell phone. The rooms are very out dated! That night I came off the elevator and a lady was laid out on the floor. One thing I could say POSITIVE is Jody did everything she could do to assist me she's a great worker.

Excellent staff cannot compensate for a poorly managed and maintained facility. Hotel ran out of in room coffee after our first night's stay. Never received any for the next two mornings. As senior citizens, my wife and I found the low toilets challenging to use. The single grab bar in the shower was placed next to the toilet and useless both during and after our showers. The lack of any type of breakfast availability at the hotel forced us to drive several miles each morning to find breakfast. Virus issues did not appear to affect other hotels in the area. I was going to renew my expired Hilton Honors gold membership that expired in 2016 when I retired. After this experience, I am going to rethink that.

Booked this motel since my daughter had a softball tournament all weekend. Upon walking into the hotel at about 9:30p.m. it was beautiful. I walked up to the check in desk and had to wait for a staff member show up about 15 minutes which is unacceptable to me but okay there might have been an emergency. After checking in we were giving the keys to our room and advised the elevator was broken and stuck between floors and we would need to take the stairs. I think there was people stuck on the elevator to. Stuff happens I understand. So we proceed to go to the stairs which were at the end of a dirty hallway near the laundry room. We go up one floor to the second floor and the whole hallway stinks like old smoke. And I am a smoker and it was disqusting. Our room wasnt awful but I felt the carpet was overdue to be shampooed. And there was no water pressure at all in the showers. We changed into our swimsuits, my husband myself and all four kids and went to the pool. My oldest daughter wanted to get into the hottub necause she pitched 2.5 games that day for softball and thought it would fill good on her shoulder. The hottub was ice cold and didnt seem to have any chemical in it at all and the pool part was really warm. The pool had seveval chairs in the pool area and a lot of them were rusty on the bottoms. And there were no towels to dry off with once you got out. The next morning we went down for breakfast and found out no complimentary breakfast. It was 8.95 per person and twelve and under was free. Thank goodness all the kids were at least under 12. And once we check out I always review the paler statment they give you and compare it to my online banking. The room was $125 dollars but they charge my bank account $150. When I called today to ask why they advised me there was a sign at the desk that stated there was a $25.00 incidental fee. But I was up at the check in desk several times and never seen a sign. My family and I was very unhappy with the cleanliness of the motel and the service. We will not be booking with Hilton Garden Inn ever again.
